Licence To Operate An Elevated Work Platform (EWP) TLILIC0005

This Nationally Recognised and WorkSafe Victoria Accredited Unit allows you to operate a boom-type elevating work platform 11 meters length or more. A competency based unit typically completed within 2 days with free re-testing and additonal training if required.

Licence To Operate An Order Picker (LO) TLILIC0004

Tailored to your experience your Order Picker Training will be conducted over a maximum of 2 days including both practical and theory training.

EWPA Yellow Card Course
(EWP, SL, VL <11m)

The Yellow Card training course is designed for those who need to operate Boom Lift with a boom length under 11 metres or more, a scissor lift and / or a vertical lift.

Work Safely At Heights (WAH)

This Nationally Recognised Unit provides training for those who are required to work at heights or where there is a risk of falling more than 2 meters including working in and around trenches and excavations. Conducted over 1 day this course is recognised nationally.

Construction Induction Card
(White Card)

This is a one day classroom based course. The course consists of an interactive presentation conducted by one of Start Trainings highly experienced trainers along with a practical exercise that teaches correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and identification of workplace hazards.

Confined Space Training (CS)

Depending on your needs our Confined Space Training is conducted either over 1 or 2 days. Our one day course includes one unit, RIIWHS202D – Enter and Work in Confined Spaces while with our two day course you will recieve all 5 units of competency.

Excavator Tickets

This Nationally Recognised Unit provides training for excavator. Beginners and Experienced operator training available using our simulated work site at our Ferntree Gully Training Centre.

Earthmoving Tickets

These Nationally Recognised Units provide training for earthmoving plant including Excavator, Skid Steer, Backhoe, Front End Loader and Roller. Beginners and Experienced operator training available using our simulated work site.

Traffic Management

Depending on your needs our Traffic Management Training is conducted either over 1 or 2 days. Our one day course includes one unit, RIIWHS205E - Control Traffic with Stop-Slow Bat while our two day course you will also recieve RIIWHS302E - Implement Taffic Management Plans.

Chainsaw Operator Course

This Nationally Recognised Unit provides training for those who are required to operate and maintain chainsaws. Conducted over 1 day this course is recognised nationally.

First Aid Training

This First Aid Course includes both HLTAID001 Provide First Aid Training and HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
